v1.3.7 Release Notes

With this release, 1.3.7, we have added support for Paginated Reports.
Use this guide to make sure you have the necessary prereqs setup in Azure to begin embedding paginated reports: learn.microsoft.com/.../embed-paginated-reports

Note you may need to Generate a Paginated Embed Token with more advanced permissions. In that case see example formats here and use the customEmbed property: learn.microsoft.com/.../generate-token

We are generating an authorization link where the connected system is "Microsoft PowerBI Client Credential". Authorization link was working fine but from couple of days we are getting below error -

Could not display interface. Please check definition and inputs. Interface Definition: Expression evaluation error at function a!authorizationLink [line 6]: com.vuram.ps.powerbi_app_grant.PowerBIAppGrantConnectedSystemTemplate cannot be cast to com.appian.connectedsystems.templateframework.sdk.oauth.OAuthConnectedSystemTemplate

I had faced this and had added a similar comment here Appian Community. It looks like they have resolved it however now, but without letting anyone know that it has been resolved. You might want to log back in and check.

Has anyone faced an issue like this:
I was able to connect to my power BI instance successfully using the connected system but any call I make I get that same error.

Can we use this plugin to embed Paginated Reports of Power BI into Appian? I was checking out the UI components and could not find a straighforward way.

Can we have a GCC High version of this please?

I believe the following links need changed in the .js files.

embedded.powerbi.com --> embedded.high.powerbigov.us
api.powerbi.com --> api.high.powerbigov.us
app.powerbi.com --> app.high.powerbigov.us
login.microsoftonline.com --> login.microsoftonline.us

We get an unexplained error when trying to embed a report where the remote "ReportType" is "PaginatedReport".

Under the exact same group ID and auth parameters, reports of type "PowerBIReport" display in Appian without an issue, but any where the type is "PaginatedReport", the component sends back an Error event with a "401" error code, and a detailedMessage saying "Get report failed".

Is this expected behavior? Have any recent updates addressed this?

BTW, I also notice the reports that fail to load all have "isFromPbix" values of FALSE. I'm only guessing as what the correlation might be, of course...
