Hi dear,

I try to connect to the Appian server " On-Prem" and the Tableau server " On-Prem" version 2025.1.6

And I added the Tableau certificate on Appian App server in the file cacerts as the comment below:

keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore "/data/appian/java/lib/security/cacerts" -storepass changeit -alias tableau -file /data/appian/java/lib/security/tableau.crt

and installed the Tableau plugin version 1.1.0 "com.vuram.tableau_1.1.0.jar", and I found the error "Error signing in to Tableau Server"

The component works with Tableau 2021.4 or later versions.

And for now, the component works only with Tableau cloud.

Has this plugin been confirmed to work with Tableau on-prem installations or does it work only with Tableau Cloud versions?

What is the oldest known version of Tableau that this plugin supports?

Are there plans to add additional error logging to this plugin? No matter what configuration details we provide in the connected system when we test the connection we always get the "something went wrong' error. As far as we can tell there is nothing being written to the tomcat server logs either. If you are able to distinguish what specific fields may have bad values that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Are there any plans for future enhancements that add authentication for user-based permissions since Tableau's connected app method allows for it?

Hi Vuram, we are encountering an error when providing the Tableau details. Do you have any idea as to what is causing it?
