I need “JMeter for Appian” plugin (the JAR file) that used to be available on Appian Community/AppMarket. Since the listing is now archived, I’m unable to download it. If someone has a copy of this JAR file, could you please share it, it would be extremely helpful.

It's outdated. No updates since 28th Apr 2021. It says it supports 20.3+ Appian version. But who knows what might have changed and it supports latest Appian version or not. We need an updated version for this.

How can we integrate this plugin with Appian application?
Do we need to download the JMeter tool and in the lib/ext folder we need to copy the snapshot file of this plugin?

Can we have any step by step document?

Hi,

In the execution of user load / capacity testing, the JMeter results file is recording 500 errors (such as 502 Bad Gateway and 504 Gateway Time-out); however the Appian environment is not displaying any errors, either in monitoring or the system logs.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a reason JMeter would record a 500 that does not correspond to any error on Appian-side?

Hi!

I have a problem with Jmeter for Appian.

First, I can solve a problem with login by using X-APPIAN-CSRF-TOKEN and JSESSIONID as cookies in HTTP COOKIE MANAGER.

Then I’d like to make a search (search a project) in our Appian cloud, but Jmeter returns me an error “Response code 401” when I do a POST resquest.

I have 2 variables in my body data request, “saveInto” and “context value”. Context value is ok but the problem is in saveInto.

Before the request I have a Json extractor, automatically created by “AppianJsonParser-20.3.0-SNAPSHOT”

Json extractor gets the variable with “\ /” and response data hasn´t this character. How can I do for solve it?

Does this plug-in work in Appian 21 version?

Hi, we have tried this plug-in in Appian 21 version and we can´t login to our Appian cloud.

We have followed step by step the Jmeter for Appian documentation and we have made a simple navigation in our cloud. Using Jmeter version 5.4.1 or 5.3, we get the same errors. When we stop recording, we can see our tree results all in green. But if we run the test again, we find problems in our login item, specifically in X-APPIAN-CSRF-TOKEN.

We have tried to pass ${COOKIE___appianCsrfToken} but we don’t know exactly the way to use that. If we will need a regular expresion extractor to pass this, could you help us with the steps to use that please?

An updated version of the main parser jar has been added, AppianJsonParser-20.3.0-SNAPSHOT. This should be used for version of Appian after 20.3.

When I downloaded this JAR it came with following structure:

\JMeter\JMeterForAppian Package\AppianJsonParser-20.2.0-SNAPSHOT, \JMeter\JMeterForAppian Package\ApacheJMeter_http

\JMeter\JMeterForAppian Package 27-Apr-20\ApacheJMeter_http, \JMeter\JMeterForAppian Package 27-Apr-20\jmeter-for-appian-19.4.0-SNAPSHOT

As I have to do this setup on 19.4 version https side so which one I should use , Also Is there any Document on it's setup and usage.

Please provide the suitable help on this.

The version of JMeter (4.0) required is no longer working with the latest browsers when recording. Version 5.2.1 will record, but the plugin need updating. I was trying to find the source so I could update it myself, but I can find nothing. How do we proceed?
