Hello,

we recently found out that the Windows Explorer zip parser in W11 cannot see the contents of the zip files generated by this plugin.

It says that the file is invalid or corrupt.

We can unzip the files with other software like winrar or 7zip.

Is this a known issue? Will there be an update in the future?

Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a workaround?

Is there any size limit or number of files are being limited in this service?
When we are trying to create a zip for more than 1000 files, it is only allows to zip 1000 files at a time.

Is there any alternative where we do not have any limitation ?

Plugin: Add Documents to Zip Version is: 1.0.1
This plugin is present in Appian Version 21.4.1205.0, we are planning to upgrade Appian version to 23.2 will this plugin supported or need to install any specific version?

I am getting "PrivilegeException" for users having "Initiator" permission for the process model. All OOTB nodes are working as expected, while this plug-in node is failing.

Also, assignment has the below configuration:

"This node will run as an automated activity. It will not be assigned to anyone as a task" -> Run as whoever started the process

I am passing multiple document to smart service and it successfully creating zip of it.
But, When i Unzip the folder the extension of the files are getting lost. Hence I am not able to recover the format of the file.

Can you suggest the solution?

We are using this plug-in, and in Appian health check report it's flagged as high risk because it's referencing the removed/deprecated Appian APIs. So, will there be an update that will address these issues?

Hi [mention:8851c655ebdd417b8f5782aa7200a44c:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05], I reached out to the original author of this app. It was originally designed for small ZIPs "low 10's of MB", not for large ZIPs.

Do we have any limitations using this smart service like number documents or total size of docs to be zipped OR size of the zip to be created ?
