I would need to set a user in the Accept Task Node, but I find only the Task Id input. Who is the owner of the task after the execution? How can I make the task accepted on behalf of another user that is not who is running the process (as the description of this plug-in mentions - "behalf on")?

Hello Appian Support,

We are encountering an issue with the “Task Smart Services” plugin, version 1.5.0. When we Reassign Task a task using this plugin, the expected task privileges (No Privilege) are not being applied correctly.

This behavior is unacceptable, as the task becomes visible and actionable by groups that should not have access. This poses a security and process integrity concern.

We kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

Do you have any documentation for the smart services? I need more info on 'Reassign' specifically.

Hi,

My customer wants to reposition (more info on that below) a process after a succesful upgrade. By reposition, I mean start a new user task added in the process upgrade which is placed before of the current active task, and after that cancel the current active task in order to leave just one active task in the process.

The effect we are looking for is that after "reposition", final user find the process flow waiting for him in the new task added in the process upgrade.

Could you tell me if this is possible whit any of the methods of this plugin? Or using any other smart service that I can include in a process?

In the below process workflow, I'd like to start "Tarea nueva" and cancel "Aprobacion". I know how to do the cancel, but don't know if it's possible to do the new task start.

Hi ,

I have the latest version of this plugin deployed on my appian envt . I am also able to see the functions and the smart services.

But when i try to use the getTaskAcceptedTimestamp function by passing the task id it s not returning the right value instead returning null.

Can someone please advice on this .

Thanks Mike - that would explain it. I'll keep an eye out on the Admin Console for when the latest version of the Plug In is available for Cloud customers :-)

The direct Cloud deployment sources the file from a different place. The updated jar is not deployed there yet.

Interestingly, I've just installed this to oue Dev Cloud instance and the logs are showing the version number as 1.0.0

INFO com.appiancorp.plugins.osgi.AppianOsgiPlugin - Successfully installed Plug-in 'Task Smart Services' (TaskServicesPlugin) version 1.0.0.

The admin console is also not displaying the function getActiveTaskIDsForProcessInStatus - nor is the function available in Dev. Makes me wonder if the Admin Console is picking up an "old" version ?

Please try to download the plug-in again. The JAR version should be 1.1.0 now.

Hi - I've just received a notification from the Shared Components page that this plug in has been updated (Contributor : mike.cichy, Last Updated : 06 Dec 2018) but the version number has not changed compared to what we already have installed (in fact the version in the XML doesn't agree with the JAR version number) so am wondering has anything changed ?
