@stefanh791: we are basically looking for some "mail undelivered" kind of message in appian logs. As test we tried to sent email to an non-existing email address like "abc@xyz.com", email node worked fine in PM but could not find any information in the logs

Hi - Does the program has any validations for identifying the recipients? If yes, you may need to check whether the criteria is erring out in any scenarios since you have stated that the business users receive email on a certain iteration.

How have you relayed on the email addresses of "different users" in the PM? Is it via a constant or have you hard-coded? In this case you might have to check the separator as well.

When the node completes, the mail server accepted the email. This means there is no error in Appian. But your email travelles through multiple other mail servers doing all sorts of magic.

Are you able to dig into any log files of your companys mail server? Or ask an admin to check for incoming email from the Appian system?

Are the process instances completing as expected in both cases? To check, monitor a process instance and ensure that the process flowed through the Send Email node.

We found these emails often to be captured by spam filters. Please check this.
