Firts reinstalled appian and then change the cookie thing configuration.

Hello Rogeliog,

Try to re-deploy modifying configuartion files from repo_appian by running configuring script or else go with the fresh installation.

I've seen this issue when Appian hasn't been properly configured to run over http. Check part six on docs.appian.com/.../Quick_Start_Installation_Guide_for_Windows_and_JBoss.html

Yes I am.

Like a month ago i did a fresh install on a new machine an appian server (for the first time in my life) , but it took me loong time so when i finished intallation, the admin temporary password configured in password.properties.env expired as in the main message of this post, so i've never used the server for designing so i0m not migrating any data.

I used configuration script so it was easier to install it again.

And in console log these are the errors that are shown when starting jboss

You're just doing an out of the box installation and not migrating any data? Were there any errors during the jboss startup?

Well, I have reinstalled it and still having problems login in.

As tutorial says: "The user will be prompted to change their password upon logging in." but instead after clicking the sing in button with my admin user and temporary password, URL changes to:

appian.mydomain.com:8080/.../setpassword.none

And it's the same login page and enter again credentials but no succes.

Any suggestions?

If you setup the a repository using the configure script before you do the initial startup, your setting will be a lot easier to redeploy. A repository can be setup for more than just one environment at a time so you set it up once copy it from one environment to the next. This also makes doing a clean install a lot faster and easier.

Hello rogeliog,

By default the temporary password expires in 10080 minutes (1 week). You will not be able to create another admin user using the password.properties file as a user will only be created if there are currently no active system admins on the system.

Please see section "Create First System Administrator" in the following documentation;
docs.appian.com/.../Post-Install_Configurations.html

In your case I suggest that you do a fresh install of Appian and copy over your configuration files to save you from having to set them up again. Also I suggest clearing your primary database prior to starting up the application server for the new installation.
