 So I am setting up appian 17.2 today and I have gotten to where appian and appian search startup fine but JBoss won&amp;#39;t start. When I try to run standalone.bat I get the following error:

If you have a folder name that has a space in between. For instance java jdk is installed under C:\Program Files\java\jdk then put quotes around it like &amp;quot;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk\bin&amp;quot;. But if you are specifically creating a user environment variable called JAVA_HOME then it doesn&amp;#39;t need quotes&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item><item><title>RE: Jboss won't start... I changed the Path entry from  C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_144\bin to %JAVA_HOME%\bin  and it started up just fine.
