I hava the same issue here:

Although I can still run login to Appian and do other stuff, the logo is still gone.

Have you got the problem resolved? Would you mind to share with us your solution, please?

Fixed the Designer's tab problem, but the logo issue still persist.

After running the load command:

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (com.appiancorp.common.logging.ConfigureLog4j).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

Given that load.sh can potentially reset customizations in the environment, I generally would not recommend it as an option of first resort (even though there are certain situations where it can be useful).

It sounds like you may have forgotten to copy some files over as part of the update (particularly files in _admin). Trying to retroactively patch in or otherwise work around the problem may increase the risk of problems in the future. Since we don't know for sure which step(s) were accidentally skipped, we can't say with certainty that an attempted fix fully mitigates problems caused by the skipped step(s). Accordingly, I would recommend that you revert to your backup, and perform the migration again, ensuring that you carefully follow all the steps listed in the update guide.
