&lt;p&gt;Stop all the engines.(make sure all engines properly shutdown)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Run the checkpoint script again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Start the engines and check the status.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If it didn&amp;#39;t work, you need to &lt;a href="https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/17.1/Appian_Engine_Repair.html"&gt;repair &lt;/a&gt;your engines.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you couldn&amp;#39;t repair , I would suggest to perform upgrade again.&lt;/p&gt;
