Can you elaborate on your problem? My solution has nothing to do with the administration console.

It seems issue in Administration Console > Authentication > Appian
It seems you can't uncheck option "Lock Accounts After Failed Logins" and save changes. I have tried to uncheck it, waited long time more than 5 mins and unable to save changes

Hi James,

You can specify which users you would like to unlock. If you navigate to /designer and then to the people tab, you can search for the user in the search box. On the top bar there will be an option to unlock the specified user: www.screencast.com/.../dDLL7xHUPOCU

The Scenario you have mentioned above I guess Appian works as expected. I guess we do not have any option available.
Try to crate a utility or a workflow with "Deactivate User" smart service.
I guess it will work for you.
