No data is stored in jboss folder so it probably doesn't matter too much. You should delete tmp and work dirs to clear cache to be safe, though.

I had copied JBOSS Standalone folder only and not full <JBOSS_HOME> folder. As I am using single machine installation with standalone mode of JBOSS so I hope it'll be enough..

Kindly confirm if its OK

as you can see in my question above, I have backup of complete Appian181 installation including <Appian_Home><Appian_Repository>
:
We have the backup of the following:

- Appian181 complete folder

- Application Server (JBOSS) Standalone folder backup

- SQL-Server Database backup

You'll have to do a complete restore to backup. move or delete the hotfixed installation, restore your backed-up Appian/Jboss install folder, restore database backup. If it's a single server install with no web server, that should be it.

You have a backup of <Appian Home> before installing the hotfix? Can you be more elaborate?

I haven't come across any such website link for removal of hotfix.

Yes, i do have the backup.
May i not just overwrite APPIAN_HOME folder with my backup?? will it not work?

Kindly do share if there is any Appian webpage or document contains rollback standard practice..

If i will install using 18.1 installer then What about my custom configuration settings which i have made on 18.1 previously?? i.e. installing RDBMS driver, appian-ds.xml file etc.

Kindly Install the 18.1 Installer file, it will roll back the hotfix
