After adding both the licenses, try running engines and data-server and search-server, if the engines are up and if you find the status as " license valid " while checking for engines status.

Then you can start Jboss.

Go through the link-- docs.appian.com/.../Windows_Installation_Guide.html

thanks
Vasu

RE: Jboss Fails to start.
I am running the start.bat from CMD, run as Administrator

RE: Jboss Fails to start.
Dont know the exact reason why this happened.

I did the following steps but not quite sure which one solved the issue.

1.Remove the licenses from the respective folders
2.Run configure.bat and Deploy configurations to both
3.Start the server

Obviously, you will end up with errors.

Once that happens, repeat the steps copying the active licenses.
1.Copy the active licenses to the respective folders
2.Run configure.bat and Deploy configurations to both
3.Start the server

Let me know what happens.

Note: Had to start the server several times in order to get it up and working.

Hope this helps

RE: Jboss Fails to start. Have you requested and deployed the license files required to start the engines? Have you followed all the steps listed here: docs.appian.com/.../Quick_Start_Installation_Guide_for_Windows_and_JBoss.html

RE: Jboss Fails to start.
I ran the Status script ( C:\appian18.2\appian\services\bin\status.bat -p <password> -c

And got the below result:
Service manager is not running across all nodes in the cluster. All engines are unavailable.

Note: The Jboss standalone.bat command was still not started, I am stuck at - ( ERROR [org.apache.catalina.core] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 138) JBWEB001103: Error detected during context /suite start, will stop it)

Please advice.

Thank you in advance,
