Do you have huge process running on your environment. If yes, try to kill those process. And check your Server config as well.

I was aware that it will work after restarting the JBoss but... not sure what is the exact root cause for this and the log file also loaded with huge data up to 2.5 GB

Or try restarting JBOSS.
