Can this be achieved using a email mail server configuration in appian with pop or imap or is this more associated with a connected system approach with Graph API?

I'm sorry to keep drilling into this, but why do you want to use your company's SMTP? What's the benefit of switching? Are there some special features?

Yes, I can use the appiancloud.com SMTP, but I want to use my company SMTP server.

As indicated, you need to reach out to Appian Support for SMTP config. That said, why? Is there some reason you cannot use the appiancloud.com SMTP?

Hello Josuv,

You can use the suggestions from Mike, what I am curious is about the SMTP you mention on the title. Are you trying to leverage you company SMTP server? If that is the case please reach Appian Supoort team.

Here is some documentation that it is used if you had an on premise installation.

Do you want to send emails OUT of the process or do you want to ingest emails INTO the process?

If OUT, use send email node: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.1/Send_Email_Smart_Service.html Appian Cloud already has an SMTP server, no further installation required.

If IN, you need open a support case to configure an email poller: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.1/Sending_an_Email_Message_to_a_Process.html
