Those actions will be taken from the design view page, the admin console is more for system/environment settings so designer work would not be done from that interface

This answered by question.But when i am an admin who has designer access as well.So can i do any designer work using admin console like object (cdt,expression,pm etc)?

This is an interview asked to me. Can any of the actions we do in Appian designer can be done in admin console like creating application, creating objects, import and export etc.

Hello Malleswari,

Please elaborate more the requirement, but let me add some comments.

the admin console is just accessible by the system admins. "Users must be system administrators to make changes in the Administrtaion Console” . ( please refer to de documentation below). And normally what is there does not have to be modified constantly so it could not be consider a “designer responsibility”

The designers strictly just have the “Designer role” or (or is member of the Designers Group).

Additionally member of all the groups set as editor in the Appian Object.

And I have to mention that an application normally have 3 admins:

* business admin

* application admin and application designers

* business admin (you have to build this functionality as part of your application)
