Hi, This was due to disk space issue. After increasing disk space, I did stop process and got stopped. but it took bit longer time.

Open a support case to have an engineer help you evaluate the best course of action, especially if this is a production environment.

You may have to kill the processes if they won't shutdown gracefully, but it is best to work with support for a scenario like this as they can help evaluate the risk and if any action is required to brings things backup without data loss.

AFAIK, the following command:

./stop.sh -p <password> -s all

should solve the problem. Maybe is worth to open a ticket with Appian, if this is not working
