True. A common approach is to first rename objects. E.g. add a "_deprecated" to the name. Then deploy that to PROD. Then delete this object on DEV.

This is leading to situation that our prod environment contains a lot unused objects. If by any chance someone create new object on DEV with same name as delete object on UAT/PROD environment then it will fail on deployment as object with same name but different UUID already exist on higher environment.

You can remove the objects during the deployment which you did not want to deploy but deleting is not possible or also not recommended by appian you can make unused object application in your env and can add those object which ae of no use for your application. In that way it will be seperated.

Appian does not support deleting design objects during deployments.
