When I had my account transferred around 6 years ago, I think it took about a week to complete, maybe slightly less. I'm not sure what the turnaround time these days might be, though.

You request this by emailing community@appian.com and requesting that they transfer the contents of your old account into your new account. As far as I know there is not yet any more "graceful" way of doing this.
