The common email process is an interesting idea, but would not work for system alerts, news feed notifications, and other things sent directly by Appian. I think the bulk e-mail change process may be the best bet, if we end up going forward with enabling email on the environment. Thanks for sharing!

We have written a common email process which maintains email modes depending upon the environment. The email mode is set in constant, and read by process while sending emails. When email mode is DEV / TEST / STAGING, only process initiator will get emails and actual recipients would not be sent any emails. If it is PROD, email would be sent to all recipients.

I've written a process model before to change all users' email address in bulk. Can set it to your own email or some shared box you have access to.
