Please try to configure the business data sources from custom.properties and ds.xml files only.We encountered some run time issues due to data sources configured from admin console, even though we have option to configure.

@Theresa. You can configure only business datasources from Admin console and it is visible only if you have configured it from admin console itself. If it is configured through custom.properties and ds.xml at the server side then it won't be visible in admin console.

AFAIK, Yes Admin console will show Business Data Source only. let me know if i'm wrong.

I believe so. My understanding is that the data-sources tab shouldn't show AppianDS but you BusinessDS right?

Hi,
Make sure the data source is configured properly as per the instructions in both custom.properties and -do.xml files and check the server.log in jboss whether the configured data source is bound to Appian or not.(You can see the logs during the start-up of Application server)
