We were added to the Appian Home Release a few months ago which is not available publicly. When I click on Help in the Designer, I get redirected to the docs for 18.4, so I believe we're on 18.4.

Hi Colton, Just have a curios question, Officially the Appian 18.4 was not out. So how did some cloud users got 18.4?

The ticket has been merged. I believe the Hotfix is scheduled to go out Monday 8/6 at COB.

It seems like a bug. For now you could just use integer and report the bug to Appian dev team.

Apologies, I see now that we are on Appian's Home Release, so our environment is on 18.4 and not 18.2, so this might actually be a bug that still needs to be fixed before the update becomes publicly available. We usually have bugs being on the Home Release.

Hi Chandu, I am not sure if it is a Primitive Data Type or not, because I see the namespace is an Appian namespace, as seen in the screenshot below, which is the same namespace as the Text and Number (Integer) Primitive Data Types:

Maybe this is a new 18.2 object?

Not sure if this helps, but in the XSD, it looks like this: (notice the type attribute is a:CollaborationDocument)

Hi Morne, I wonder how u had a Document type in a CDT, Since the CDT Field types can be from Primitive or other CDT. I think that Document is of type CDT. We generally have the documentId of type Integer which holds the Appian Doc id.

In the properties they mentioned.
Field Types Fields can be of the following types: primitive, custom. Other Appian types are not available.
