One way or another, a form has to be submitted (either by submit button or by submitLink) in order for the uploaded file to be moved into its target folder and made available for use within the system, as Stewart mentioned in the newer thread you created. Without this, an uploaded document will be stuck in the special inaccessible temporary folder used for new uploads, and presumably deleted when temp files are cleaned up later.

Have you verified that activity chaining is properly set up in your process model from the start node to any subsequent User Input Task nodes? Can you check the process instance history and see whether there are any errors or anything else blocking the process flow after a user submits past the start form?

So after submiting the excel file it will pass document id to another interface and do nessory validations and return back to main interface which i have given in process model

What are you expecting would happen after the user presses "Upload File"?
