This is how it should look like. Please drop the table and re-verify the data store to make Appian recreate it.

What you say kind of resonates with me. see the attachments. I also noticed that the db has duplicated fields from the CDT.

Can you post a screenshot of the DB table configuration. Could it be that you always used the same name for the table. In that case Appian would not recreate it. In case your missed to check that box the first time, the configuration for that field would still be the same.

If this happens to me, I drop the table and have Appian recreate it. Checking the auto-generate box after initial table creation will not change field configuration.

HI Stefan, the auto-generate was checked. I have been following the remote develop training for the vehicle management app (did it three times in a row trying to fix the problem), the vehicle id is also a primary key and an integer......

Could it be that your forgot to set the auto-generate property for the field vehicleId. I assume that the DB table has been created via Appian.
