Check if the "Text File Utilities" plugin is added in your environment. The function is part of the plugin.

It's coming from SFTP. The file parsing is recurrent (not just one time) and I need to save it as CDT

...at this point (if I were consulting with you) I'd wan t to ask what your use case is - why you need to access the content of a text file, where it's coming from, what it contains and whether there might not be other options of transporting that data into Appian (e.g. via a WebAPI...assuming that it is coming from an external source)...and so forth...

I think you'll find that readTextFromFile() is actually a function available in a plug-in:

community.appian.com/.../text-file-reader

...so not dependent upon the version of Appian.
