To clarify, Data Fabric Analytics (now called Data Fabric Insights) was released as a preview in 23.4. At that time, it was not possible to save any reports. In 24.1 and beyond, customers must be on Advanced or Premium tiers to save reports. No customers should have lost access to save reports, since this required the new licensing tiers. The following points are now clear to me:

Data Fabric Analytics is now no longer available in the Standard tiered of 24.2
The end user cannot create reports using Data Fabric Analytics in Standard tiered in 24.2
Existing reports created by the End Users in the standard tier of the 24.1 version will not be available in the 24.2 version

Please correct me in case required.

The reports created by End Users (in the Standard tier of 24.1), are no longer available due to the Appian minor version upgrade. It is tough to explain to the business.

To answer your questions:

Data Fabric is available on all supported versions of Appian and all licensing tiers. Any customer can (and should use) synced record types to build their applications.
Data Fabric is the foundational design concept for building your apps. Data Fabric Insights is a new feature starting in 23.4 that allows end users to create reports off data in their data fabric. Starting in 24.2, Data Fabric Insights is now a part of Process HQ, which is included in the Advanced or Premium tiers.
Reports created in Data Fabric Insights / Process HQ are only available in Process HQ. If you created reports in the past before going to the standard tier, those reports are not available. To clarify though, this is only for reports created by end users in Data Fabric Insights. It's still possible for low-code developers to create reports through regular interfaces.

Yes, Process HQ is the new one and it seems that it requires Advanced/Premium licensing.

Process HQ has two parts:

Process insights
Data fabric insights

However, as per the below, Data fabric is available in the Standard tier as well. Hence, the question is how to use this capability available in the Standard tier.

Has anyone updated to 24.2 and has a similar issue or knows how to access Data Fabric?

DF Analytics is no more. Process HQ is the new thing. Contact Appian on how get it activated.

In 24.1, we can access Data Fabric from the navigation menu. However, it is removed from 24.2 version. Hence, how to access this data fabric to create reports. See the screenshot for more details:

Note: Process HQ is not available in the Standard tier. It is showing 'Process HQ' in navigation. However, I can't do anything.

2) Do you mean "Process HQ"? DF and PHQ are two things, and PHW is extra, I think.

3) DF is standard. Which reports do you mean?
