There are some nuances with the current scheduling system that could be improved for larger Appian instances that leverage the Data Fabric everywhere. There was a minor discussion about the scheduler with a Data Fabric product manager (iirc) on the bus ride to the evening party at Appian World. If I remember correctly, these were the talking points:

It would be nice to have an easier way to select which records are forced to sync during a deployment, and synchronous order that they sync in.
Sometimes the data sync's "successfully", yet the content of the data or its relationships are incorrect and thus we need to re-sync it. Sometimes the data doesn't sync correctly, but we can systematically detect why with custom Appian logic. Yet we can't automate that re-sync, currently. In the current state, someone gets paged at 3am and has to log in just to hit a button so that the business users can start their work day on time.
Someone brought up the idea of being able to view and manage the schedule of all sync'ed records from one place. This is particularly necessary to spread out the load on the external systems the records come from, but would also help in the uncommon cases where one service-backed sync'ed record's relationships depend on another service-baced sync'ed record to have fully sync'ed 'earlier'.

If there's a roadmap / survey / etc where I can submit these without submitting a formal Appian support case, I'm happy to use that 🙂.

Can you provide more context for why you're asking this? Are you just asking because you want a bulk way to schedule this? Although the other posters have suggested other options, I generally don't suggest those - the out-of-the-box scheduler is set up for a reason, since that is the best approach to schedule your syncs. For instance, there are a lot of additional capabilities around retries, error handling, performance, etc. that apply to the scheduled sync that you wouldn't get if you try to reproduce your own custom schedule.

Use a Process Model with timer and Sync Records Smart Service for automatic bulk sync of all records.

If you want an automation for this, RPA (Browser Actions) is the only way i know, that can sync records without developer intervention.

Inorder to use Sync Records Smart Service, Identifiers are must, we cant explicitly give identifiers everytime.

Create an automated process model (via scheduled execution) that loops through all record types and calls the Sync Records Smart Service for each one.

This is a neat approach.

We thought about automated forced record syncs in a different scenario - automated credential rotation - in my last role. Generally the organization didn't like static secrets for any databases, and we kept all business data in a company-controlled database rather than Appian's. So we defined database the connections via Connected Systems with the plan to automatically implement and deploy new credentials every so often. The deployment would include a sample record to sync. If the record sync failed, then an Appian-based record monitor could trigger a revert of the credential deployment via API.

The main drawback(s) to this approach - (1) not every organization is ok with automated deployments, and (2) unlike process models, there is no way to add a non-administrative account email to the alerts sent when a record type de-sync's itself. Therefore automations (such as a periodic record query monitor) around error conditions are a bit hack-ish to manage.

In case you need to define a custom logic to sync all these records, you can schedule a daily process that triggers a deployment into the same Appian environment using the internal API. That deployment will contain a dummy object and a properties file which contains for every record to sync:

recordType.RECORD_UUID_TO_SYNC.forceSync=true

Otherwise, the way to go is using the OOTB functionality

Instead of syncing single record at particular time .I wanted to create a schedular process which will Full sync all record at scheduled time

Go to your application in Designer -> Navigate to the Monitoring tab -> Click on Record Sync Status.

Yes I tried Stefan Helzle I know we can configure the sync options with scheduled time with individual record .I am just looking is there any other suggested approach where we can do full sync for all the records which are there in my application
