No, you cannot query any table using EDP's Business Data Direct Query.
External BI/ETL tools connect directly to the Appian Cloud business database replica and run SQL queries only on tables/views where access is explicitly granted.

If i give access to all the tables for the user, then i should be able to query the table using the regular SQL right?

With Business Data Direct Query, your external BI/ETL tools connect directly to the Appian Cloud business database replica and run standard SQL queries against the tables you’ve granted that user access to.
