I can create another fixture that leverages selenium to invoke the browser and log in. However, how can Fitnesse for Appian framework then interact with the previous selenium instance that logged in?

Has anyone out there implemented this and/or can you provide any pointers?

By chance, do you make your Appian selenium fixture code base available so I can extend it?

FitNesse does not come with out of the box fixtures meaning that to interact with other web apps (in this case, the SSO login screen), you will have to develop new fixtures specific to the SSO page.

There is nothing in the cheat sheet that pertains to identifying and invoking non-Appian fields. This is a custom login page where we must enter a user name and password before appian home page loads up -see above.

Is there a method in this Appian Fitnesse framework to invoke an object based on their html id versus label name?

Hey Ric,

A work around I've seen is to create test users for FitNesse scripts as Appian users instead of users in the IDP. You can then access the normal Appian login page by navigating to host/.../login.jsp. Note that you will have to be careful when setting the site configuration as most FitNesse methods will just append assuming the site you've entered is host/suite/.
