we have done in this in 2 ways.

1. Creating a servlet and calling an Appian process model to create a user out of it. we have exposed the servlet registration page to the clients.

2. Used a third party software( your preference) and calling a an Appian WEBAPI which in turn called a process model

It sounds like you were able to access the primary database and copy the news entries directly. Note for cloud customers: this is not possible.

I used a trick to show the News to people without accounts in Appian.
I made an Appian process that writes news in database, and with other user (lets say Wordpress) reads the DB and fetch the data to a page.

Since Appian 17.1, it is possible to specify the links you would like to show on the user login page. This can be achieved in the Admin panel by navigating to "Sign-In Page Links". There you can add a link by specifying the display text as well as the URL.

Additional customization would have to be coordinated with Appian Cloud Services most likely.

Can you please provide a screenshot if you can as I am also working on cloud and I dnt find any T&C on login Page.

harshav recent times i saw T&C in login page, once i clicked on I Agree then it asks for Login credentials. we are working on Appian Cloud 17.1. I think there is some manipulation in login.jsp

if you are also working on Cloud i think you can request Appian admins what you need.

Thanks Mathieu for the suggestion, Can you please tell me how did you overcome these problems.

1.The default landing page which shows the news feeds of that customer. On that Page you will be having Login,SignUp
2.Once you click on Login- It routes to a Login Page of Appian.
3.Once the User Sign Up - May be we can take the form like what you have suggested in WordPress and Start a Process in Appian.

But For point 1 that is not possible in Appian right.... like the default public Landing page without Login?
Could you please confirm.

Not possible. We developed a signup form in Wordpress that starts a process in Appian.
