Start Process Smart service is more efficient and dynamic whereas simple straight forward flow should be design using sub-process.

We have some data intensive asynchronous process which we wanted to run without effecting the execution engines, so wanted to understand which one to choose. Now I am clear and we are going with Start Process Smart Service.

Hello,

The biggest advantage of Start Process Smart Service is it can dynamically invoke a process model (based on run time parameters) at run time/execution time.

Start Process smart service will be more efficient than Sub Process node as per documentation.

I believe the sub process node will start all the instances in same engine as parent , where as Start Process Smart service has got load balancing it should start the instances in different process engines
