I have got the response from Appian Support. This was a product Issue and has been resolved in one of the Hotfixes.

And Even if there is some Appian version issue then the placeholder in the Date Field should clearly say mm/dd/yyyy but Placeholder says dd/mm/yyyy and giving validation for mm/dd/yyyy.

I don't think so this is something related to Appian version

Hi Sandeep,

Both our Environments are on Appian 17.3 and user time zone is also same. There is no difference in the configurations.

Could you please check both the environment Appian Version. Because in older Appian Version format was "dd/mm/yyyy" and in latest version it is "mm/dd/yyyy". I guess that why you are facing issue.

And please check user time zone as well.

The date time format is depend on User timezone and Calendar Settings, please refer

As mentioned above user is entering the date from UI.
