I do agree with yoga . for executing this function you can use script task and in assignment select run as whoever designed the process model. so that script task will execute as a system admin .

I agree with yoga's answer here. If you place the function in a script task node within a process model, you can configure the node to run as a specified administrator.

One of the way is to put the function in a script task in the model and assign it to a specific user/group. If your use case needs that to be done in the same UI, you can do a loop back to the same UI after executing the function in the script task.
