Hi Harshav,

We also have similar requirement, what approach you have implemented to achieve this with the web content feature. How you have fixed the " waiting for proxy tunnel " issue?

To me, this all sounds like network connectivity. Without having details about how your different systems are configured from a networking perspective, it'll be difficult to troubleshoot. You may need to work with your network team to see what needs to happen to let that page be embedded in Appian.

Hi Carlos,

I have tried from my end. and here are the details,

I am trying it from my organization cloud Dev environment.

When I tried opening that web component,

In the left hand corner of the page, it is saying like waiting for proxy tunnel .

So is it something which I need to configure for the firewals

Hi Carlos,

The Organization Login page is not an internal network, it is accessible over the internet.

I tried the appian docs url it loads but in general no one wants to load the Appian docs page right....

My main intention of doing this is I have to send the documents to different integration system. So thought we can embed that interface in Appian screen.

2nd what Carlos suggested - try using another URL to see if any are showing. If they are, refer to the notes section of the link you provided:

"Not all content can be embedded. The best way to know if your content can be embedded or not is to test it. If it can't be embedded, the field will be empty. Some sources explicitly prevent being embedded, such as https://www.google.com and https://www.yahoo.com/."

Sounds like you're experiencing an empty field, which would suggest that the content cannot be embedded.

Can you try a different URL (such as http://www.example.com)? If that works, is your organization's login page on an internal network? If your Appian instance is on the Cloud, then it won't be able to display content that's on your organization's internal network.

Thanks Rob,

I tried all these ways which is suggested, but I am trying to open my Organization login page,which is also a SafeURI but still it is showing a blank space where this web component is called.

Any thoughts on this please I have opened in chrome. and also the URL needs credentials to be inputted into it. but atleast it should prompt me the Login page.

Hi Harsha -
Let's confirm a few points to note:

The web content component is available as a preview version right now. The documentation you referenced describes current the known limitations of the feature as preview usage guidance. Are you tested using one of the browsers listed?
The URL must be a valid safeURI. Are you sure you're using a safe URI?

If you're testing in designer, try:

setting the source parameter as a rule input.
add the source value as a test input, and save it as the default test value.
save the form, and close it.
open again.

This works for me when using a valid safeURI in a chrome or firefox browser.
