Hi Mike,

I have a task report to track the status of the task open and closed. Task entry is showing when task is with the context models. As the Admin user is able to see the tasks and close the task from task report by using complete processes smart service but the challenge is to the user can see that in actions Tab but he is unable to see the open tasks and to close that tasks. The task that entry is not visible for other Users and they are unable to close. As a system administrator, I'm able to see it. I checked process security and user viewer access everything looks fine And I haven't used any filters in queryProcessAnalytics.

Any pointers will help.

You can see the tasks for a user and reassign them using 'Tasks for user' report. It behaves same way as the user tab in runtime data.

Thanks Raghu. Sure was a lot easier when you could go to the User Profile, select Tasks and then select the task and reassign.

For version 18.1,
You can see what task is assigned to which user using the 'Tasks for user' report.
Go to design-->objects and search for 'Tasks for user' report. You should see a task report created by the admin which displays the tasks assigned to a user. You can change the report context to view tasks assigned to a particular user or many users.

For earlier versions of Appian<18.1,
Go to Designer ("Runtime Data") interface and check the Users tab.

Create a process report with report type as "task" with context type as "Tasks attributed to User"
Set the context user as your vacation user and get the task IDs through a queryProcessAnalytics() call.
Now use Task Reassignment Smartservice to reassign the task to the new delegatee
