May I ask what is the use case? Why are you storing application UUID in the database? Is there an application built around applications? Could be quite interesting. Please share ;-)

You can simply go to properties of any application you will get UUID of respective App.
While exporting any application you can able to see UUID of respective app.

AFAIK, I think there is no OOTB function or a custom plugin to get the application UUID's to store them in the database automatically, But as mentioned by the above practitioners you can obtain the UUID manually and update the same in the DB

Hi apoorvam0001,

You can find the Application UUID in two ways,

1) By Exporting the whole application, in application folder you can find the UUID of the application.

2) From design tab, if you open application , you can find it application properties, there also you can get the UUID

just check application property there you can find the application uuid .

Usually when you click on the Application Properties you will be able to see the Application UUID.

But if have any requirement where in runtime you have to get the UUID by giving the Application name then we will have to explore if there is any plugin or functions available or not.

You can use application(appId, property) method to get UUID of the application

When you run the Health check you get the following log

hc-applications.csv

after that you can use one of this options

1) you can use the readcsvlog or readcsvlogpagingwithheaders functions form the "Log Reader"
