you also need to provide cdt in Output tab within Data tab. is this configured?&lt;br /&gt;
If possible provide the screen shot of smart service configuration.&lt;br /&gt;

If Yes, please read your excel from row 2 (Row Number To Read From-2) and type cast the CDT to {&amp;#39;type!{urn:com:appian:types}PI_employeeDetails&amp;#39;()}&lt;br /&gt;
