I think ACAD-2 replaced with Designer. Iam not sure , could not find much info about ACAD-1 & 2.

Do you have any idea how they are replaced? Did the designer replace ACAD-1 or ACAd-2?

hi Yesh!

I think we do not have ACAD Exams now. If iam not wrong those are replaced with Analyst, Designer & Lead Designer.

I completely know what Designer credential is and what is covers, as I already took the exam. My only question is the comparision between ACADs and Credentials.

Appian has evolved a big time over a period of time. It is best to keep your self updated by visiting the technical videos shared by Appian on community and by Attempting the certification exams as well. Designer exam holds more question related to technical aspect of Appian.

Hi Yeswanth,

1) Analyst credentials just to know the understanding level of basic Appian things as well as the Agile methodologies.
2) Designer credentials to know the person's over all understanding of the components of the Appian, Configurations of the objects, security, Agile related.
3) Lead Designer credentials to know person's overall understanding of the complete Appian which includes Appian components, Best practices (* very important), Agile terminology.

Hi,

ACAD1 and ACAD2 are older terms for Appian certifications.

Previously there are only two levels of certifications were available for Appian Developers(ACAD-1 and ACAD-2).

Currently we have 3 certifications for Appian developers.
1. Analyst Credentials
2. Designer Credentails
3. Lead Designer.
