The information text is saying that the "application object" is not in the application. It's kind of redundant information since an application cannot contain an application, and you'll even notice that the application object can't be selected to be added or removed from the app

If you check the dependents of an object from within an application, the dependents that are not within that application package are italicized and display that text (Not in this Application) when you hover over them. It is just to help you identify any missing dependents that can cause issues when you import that application into another environment.
