Hi Robert,

This is issue happend in Prod and we tried to replicate the same issue in dev and test environment with same file name used in Prod but it is uploading as expected.

So before deploying to Prod i want to make sure the issue is fixed.

Hi,

For testing, I just uploaded a document with name "5722996_TestFile8.23.18invoice8540226" and it saved with same name. As Robert mentioned, remove filenames parameter and test it. Make sure the document you are uploading(ri!document) has same name.

That is interesting behavior. It does not appear that the file name you are using contains any illegal characters according to the Appian documentation:

docs.appian.com/.../File_Upload_Component.html

Illegal characters that are replaced by underscores: \ / " ; : | ? ' < > *

This might be a long shot but I wonder if the filename needs to start with a letter.

Perhaps you could also try experimenting with the filename itself to see if you can isolate the cause that way. Try a name without the underscore, a shorter name, etc.

Hi,
I'm not sure this will solve your problem, but since fileNames is an optional parameter, can you try the same code with that omitted?
That should essentially save the name of the file as the name.
Let's see what that does.
