Hi Phani,
User use to upload some documents as part of the Case after completing of the Case, We get all the documents related to that case and make Zip file and Place it in a Shared Folder. We have a Mule service that will Pick these files from that Folder once the File is Pick by that Service and places that in the target File System the Mule service gives us a response back with Successful Completion. We will clean up the Documents that Exists in Appian KC.

Hi Phani, We have implemented the same approach in our Project, we will place documents in a shared folder and notifies the service to pick the document, Once the service picks the document and placed in their file system. We can have a process model to clean up the moved documents from Appian KC.

Hi Phanibabuk,

We cannot upload document to external system without storing it into Appian KC. You can delete the document once it is transfered to external system successfully.

Hi phanibabuk As per my understanding, you cannot upload a document to an external system without the document being stored into Appian KC.

However we can have some work-around like, Upload the Document into the KC and then upload this document from KC to the external system by the help of process, upon success delete this document from KC else retry for some certain number of times, if at all it's getting failed then Delete the document from KC and send the failure email to the Initiator and terminate the process.
