Looks like this Shared Component content is not being updated/maintained from last couple of years, as the URL to install eclipse plugins doesn't exists anymore.

In fact i have shared an alternate URL couple of years ago, which is still active but won't be able to download the Jars because their linked repositories doesn't exist from where this plugin used to download/copy the Jars (of Appian Old versions) into our system.

Also, in older days, when this plugin used to work, we still had an opportunity to upgrade it from Appian v6.x to the higher version, by replacing their respective JAR's and still we were able to save some time while compared to creating the structure from the scratch, however it doesn't take much time to create the structure if we follow the documentation step-by-step.

Hence, at present there is only one way to create an Appian plugin structure is: Manually and hence we need to have this jar file handy (can be found under Appian installation directory).

That’s a good point, itself using the eclipse is mainly to make life easier when creating the plugins regardless the jars you are using. At the end the version 6 Could only work if you want to make it backward compatible.

But if trying to create a plugin specifically for the version 18.3 there might be other jars required which can be found in the same installation.

What I don’t know is if he is trying to create a plugin or just needs the jar for something else.

looks like the above URL gives developer edition for appian 6.1.0. I suggest better to get the SDK file from <APPIAN_HOME>/_admin/sdk/appian-plug-in-sdk.jar. With Every release there might be some deprecations as well.

Can I ask why you need this jar?

Are you trying to develop a plugin? If so here is the eclipse plugin to create Appian plugins, when using this you don’t have to worry about the jars.

If you have already installed version of appian then you can get the requested jar file in the lollowing location.
C:\appian\appian\_admin\sdk
If you don't have appian installed then you can get the appian windows installation. Once you install then you can get jar from above location in your machine.

It may not be possible for direct download of the specified package. You can get it from installation directory of Appian.
