I'll throw in that this "integrity" check can change from version to version. Tricks that may have worked in Appian circa 2010 don't work these days. It's usually faster to just brute force it than reverse engineer, unfortunately.

This can have many applications from changing names of db tables and having all appian references updated, to modifing any properties of process models. In our situation we want to set all process models to use the system defualt for archive length. We have tried but we get an error. I think they are doing something with a checksum or hash. Possibly the compression I am using is not correct.

Hi Josh,

Yes w e had done such thing earlier but this is highly not recommended.

Can you let us know why you want to change the Application XML and what are you trying to modified in XML.
