I agree, though, in the case of QuickTasks, the safeLink component would be the one thing they don't need to worry about, lol... but very good case for adding the same sort of functionality (if possible) to Record Links, Task Links and Report Links as well as dynamic links.

I think there are many cases where it would be vital for the user to understand they are leaving Appian altogether.

One case I can think of right off the top of my head would be a user using a quick task. They would probably want to know that there's no means for them to ever get back to the quick task if they click that link.

This would potentially be a good thing to include in the Feature Request I posted a while ago asking for similar functionality but on the Dynamic Link component. I'm not altogether sure whether the Appian engineers would have the capability to intercept a click event on a safeLink (since AFAIK it might just be a plain URL as far as the browser knows), but I can see the usefulness in this if it were possible.
