Hi All,

I want to delete records from the data table created in database before I upload the new data.

created interface to upload the files.

Que1) Do i need to call the DeleteFromDataStoreEntities service in process model ?

Que2) Can i call a!deleteFromDataStoreEntities function in interface ?

Que3) I need to create expression rule to achieve ?

Requesting for the answer in description.

Can you explain why the recipe above didn't work? That recipe doesn't delete data from the database, it just removes the data in the selected row from your variable. If you could post a sample expression or error message that would help us troubleshoot.

Also just to be clear - a!gridLayout() *is* an editable grid. Are you trying to use a!gridField() (a paging grid)?

its not editable grid , Can i do it without query rule & Entity

Hi,

if you are using editable grid, there is a option within the grid itself you can delete the row but if you don't want to do this,

1. select the row same like paging grid, based on the id, you call deletefromdatastoreentity function within the delete button you can delete the selected row
