i was aware of thiese documentation links but "what should be the name of the table" is no where given in that documenttion. I just found the solution, it is "dbo.table name in the db" worked in the query. Thank you.

SQL query statement used by the Query Database Smart Service will vary according to the database, however the table name should be the table in the database. For more information check out our documentation on the smart service
