If the new assignee wants to further reassign the task to someone, there are two things

1. Task assignment is looping from user to user or group

2. Process flow remains same. There is no looping in the flow

As per first point, whenever the task is assigned to new assignees, the task is attended and they will again assign it to new assignees.

As per the second point, when new assignee attends the task, the flow will check for the new reassignment. If new assignment again present, system again reassigns.

In this case we have to use Reassign Task.

In the interface we have to capture the task new assignees (preferably group).

Once the form is submitted, in the process we need to use the Reassign Task.

The task will be available in the new assignee task list for further action

My point is if someone assign a task to other user that's okay, but if the other user wants to reassign the task to a 3rd one then?

If the task owner wants to reassign the task, you should use Set re-assignment privileges for assignees.

You need not use the Reassign Task node.

User Input Task ->Assignment -> click on Set re-assignment privileges for assignees

Reassign Task node allows the developer to reassign the task to another group of people (New Assignees).

Let's say if Add Vehicle task (example task id 1234) is assigned to Vehicle Reviewers group(Old Assignees), for some reason business wants the same task to be assigned to Supervisors Group(New Assignees). Then developer uses this Reassign Task node.

When developer assign the task, he/she has to mention which task should be reassigned to new assignees. This is done by Task ID (in this case task id 1234 of Add Vehicle ).

When developer assign the task, he/she has to provide the appropriate Reassignment Privileges like

Reject Task Only
Reassign Within Pool
Reassign To Anyone
No Reassignment
