As far as I know, it is only possible to use a Single Sign On mechanism with Appian using SAML but one of our clients requires to use OAuth2 tokens instead of SAML. Is that possible?

Thanks a lot

RE: log in into Appian with OAuth2 token

Though oAuth and SAML both relies on the token or the saml assertion recieved from authorisation server or IDP respectively, oAuth is not an authentication method it is a way of authorising resources.

Thus Appian provides oAuth only for the webAPIs (as of 21.2) and SAML only for user authentication.

So, oAuth tokens cannot be used for user authentication
