This is true but it should not prevent you from using that technique. It's not my preferred method (my preference would be to just use individual columns with labels that are sufficiently specific), but i don't see any reason it wouldn't work. The screenshot you posted even seems to be a working Appian implementation.

Hi dreamyoung,

there is currently now feataures available to archive it.
From experience this usually doesn't really matter for end users having "just" three columns with a clear label.

for now you are not able to acheive it with grids it can only be possible using cardlayouts which is not suitable for mobile devices.

once possible way can be to show data using grid with no nested headers in phone and show data using card layouts using nested headers for other devices conditionally using ispagewidth() function
