After about 3 weeks of working with Appian a new hotfix version came out so I tried installing that one and it worked. We still aren't sure what was causing the issue in the other hotfix version.

Mine is not resolved. I have been actively working with Appian support but I am still not sure how close we are to a solution.

ericm0013 Looks like Appian's latest install has a bug, hope you have opened a case to let them know.

It worked before, but when I did a fresh install for the recent hotfix update for log4j issues it stopped working. I followed the quick installation guide and everything works except process model.

then my first step would be to recheck if the installation went smooth, if you fit the hardware requirements, and so on. usually appian is not designed to run on a local normal daily use pc
